Just wanted to stop in and say thank you to everyone for keeping me and my whole family in your prayers after my grandmother passed away. We got back home late tuesday night and i'm just now getting on. This was 100% not expected so please call your loved ones often cause you never know!!!

Thanks guys, and yeah pat i think you know how i feel cause i was the favorite too, and that kinda made it real hard. She had Coast Guard stuff everywhere and always told me "When i go to my grave make sure you put my favorite Coast Guard blanket that i use every night in with me" So seeing her laying there with my blanket made me lose it. If it werent for here i wouldent be where i am today, so i took my nametag from my uniform and put it with her so she'll have it always.

don't know a man that would be able to keep it together given that situation, however it shows how strong the bond was between you two. God Speed to her.

sorry for the loss , but. she'll be with you for forever and will look out for you !!!!!! i know mine still does !!!!!! and my great g-ma too !!!!! :)
