I just put new Tokico Illumina, skunk adjuster, and neuspeed race (2"front 1.75"rear) springs on my 01 gsr. I have to say it looks really good but... I like to drive (http://honda-tech.com/zerothread/2085130#) the car and I think its a little too low for me. I have to be careful or it seems to bottom out. Im not scraping the oil pan or anything, it just seems like there isn't a lot of space between the coils of the spring to any up and down travel. I have adjusted the firmness of the shocks and the tighter the better but its still not good enough. What to do??? raise it? different springs? which ones? Open for Ideas

Assuming your car is like typical suspensions, if you like the height then your best option is stiffer springs.

AKA, What did you finally decide was a solution?

Chuck was right about the height vs stiffness issue.
Everything is a tradeoff.

That's why I go with spring rates close to stock,
since they were designed/engineered for the weight of the car.

Unless you are driving on a smooth race track, hard springs beat up a car
on the street, and you lose grip in the turns when it's bouncing around.

If you want to see what I'm talking about with stock spring
rates, ride with me sometime. -Bob

And folks you heard me say it before that a spring that's too short is too short, and will beat up your car regardless whether you paid $300 for the spring or made it too short all by yourself.
