Bradenton Drag Event

This is my first post on this site and it goes out to all drag racers.I raced at an event that Tampa Racing did last year at Bradenton and it was a good time...I am putting on an event at Bradenton and it will be a private track rental.I am a member over on MY350Z.com and will be racing my Z along with many others from that site.I would like to extend the invitation to the drag racers on this site. Here's the info:

Sunday Sept.30th
Gates open at 9:00am until 4:00pm(kinda like a Runday Sunday)

I have set the maximum limit of racers to 70 so that way you will be able to get alot of runs in.There will be a guy working the staging lights,the water box WILL be on,and timeslips will be issued.The concession stand will also be open.
I have already reserved the track and paid the deposit so its good to go.

If you would like to race at this event, the cost is $52.00 for the day.Payment can be made thru PayPal at :coachk47@comcast.net or you can mail a money order for 50.00 to:

For spectators you pay $10.00 at the gate.

People, we filled about 40 or so spots made up of Z's and G's from all over the state. Hell, there are some coming from N.C. and Georgia.

coachK and I will be running turbo's w/ NOS on stock blocks. There might be a few Z records going down that day.

We are looking for any vehicles that run 14.0's or better.
Please help coachK fill this up so he doesn't have to come out of pocket to throw a killer event

Nah, my buddy has an 06 MR running 28lbs. of boost. His best time to date is 12.2. I ran a 11.8 w/ a 150 shot of NO2.

I have much respect for Evo's. Thats why I'm calling you out, I wanna see some at the track!

28psi and only a 12.2? He should be in the high 11's with that much boost on a IX. I can only assume he still hasn't figured out how to launch his car yet.

I've raced many times at Bradenton and it sucks when there are too many cars there. Only been able to get a couple runs in on some events. Thats why I limited it to 70. You should be able to get at least 10 runs in and thats only 5.00 per run...lol Its going to be a good event so if you like to race its worth it...

You are right, I hate only getting 2 maybe 3 runs in on a test n tune day.

I have had many a private rental where we allowed up to 100 cars and people were getting 10-15 runs and then stopping because it was enough. :lol:

You must of been lucky because thats never happened with me before.I raced at BMP so many times I've lost count and have never had more than 6 runs. I guess if you hot lap maybe.....

Hey Ryan....Hope everythings good!!!! Your car is all show AND all go. Must be nice to have both. I've seen this car run and its fast and Ryan doesn't baby it on the track...See you on the 30th
