Default ok TR i got a lil rim decision making.. need help

i have a 94 civic coupe 2 1/2 " drop.... i went to buy rims for my car and the guy who is trying to sell me rims... is stuck on 17 in" rims... he says its the same thing as 16" wit fatter tires... but im thinking 17 is too big... especially for a honda... im telling him 16 is better off and they are not so big ... wat do you recomend 16 or 17 inch rims... i think 16' low profile... are better ..... give me your opinions

i would think the cost and variety of a 16" tire would be better than a 17" tire. i'd go with a 16" and a little bit fatter tire since your tires help absorb some bumps.

I heard eg's handle the best with 15" wheels. I'm riding on 16" slips. I personally like 17" on Integra's. For a civic I'd go 15", and forget this guy trying to sell you the 17's.
