I'm trying to take off the harmonic balancer for my crank and that thing is stuck in there. I broke 2 5-ton 3 jawed pullers and torched the hell out of it already. and still it will not budge. This is my daily beater a 96 neon automatic, and I do not want to take this to the shop because it is not worth it. I will pay $35.00 to whoever can remove it. I need this done either friday evening or saturday morning. pm me if you can do it, I'm in clearwater. and a extra $50 if you can put on my timing belt and waterpump and get it running. lmk! I need my daily beater for work cause its great on gas.

You must use the Chrysler specific pulley remover, everything else will just break. I know from past experiences. Autozone & Discount all have loaner ones you can use.

One tab on the harmonic balancer broke off while I was using the chrysler puller from autozone. I torched the hell out of it and still will not budge. I am in the process of using a chisel and breaking that bitch off, been chiseling for 2 days now. What a bitch. This P.O.S. ain't even worth it. let me know if anyone can take it off, its got a broken tab already.

keep heating it, replace the crank seal, once you get it off, use a three jaw puller and try to get it from the outside while heating it. since its already jacked up, what are you using to heat it?
