which way should i face my subs?

Should i have them facing the back of my explorer or the towards the front, where I'm sitting? didn't know if there was a sound difference or highs hit different than lows, or anything like that? Or would it reduce outside noise? Thanks, lemme know.

Face them towards the rear

facing to the rear will give you added benefit of cabin gain(louder) at a cost of transients and clean mid-low bass. facing them to the rear will probably make it louder outside if that matters to you.
