Hub centric rings measurements?

when ordering hub centric ring, for wheel spacers they have two measurements,
one is diameter the other is thickness,
does thickness mean the thickness of the actual spacer?
and does the diameter mean the bore size?

If I was designing/selling wheel spacers, that would be the only useful measurements for hub centric-gotta know what the spacer will fit onto.

Outer dia overall would be meaningless to determine if it would fit my car.-Bob

You need OD of hub and ID of wheel center.
