Beach Meet for anyone who wants to come

Started out as a MR2 meet but grew to be others makes/models. Date will be Saturday, Sept. 29th and we will meet up at 11am at Fort Desoto Park. It shouldn't be too hot at this time and hopefully won't rain. Wear beach attire and bring something for a cookout! We will have a food signup list when the time gets closer but this is just for all you people to mark your calendars, take off from work, etc..

Tegy92 is out in Tampa and was talking about meeting up with the Polk County crews when we drive through. So maybe one of you tampa guys set up a location near the interstate *maybe at that shopping plaza?(best buy?) on Dale Mabry* and we will meet up with you guys and ride out to Fort Desota together. ?

I am not sure of the exact address but you guys can set up something over there that is easy for you and near I4 and we will meet up. AND as far as how many people are going...we are not sure. There were flyers past out, it was posted on many forums and we have some MR2 people coming from Daytona/Orlando and even an MR2 person coming from NC. So it could be big, or it may just end up being a few people...who knows. Im thinking itll be more on the big side.

hey im new around here but i may be interested.... its probably easier to meet up at the bestbuy/walmart area on dale you were talking about its easier to park and stuff and food is right next to it. if someone wants me meet me anywhere in say new tampa or somewhere closer im in zephyrhills we could ride to tampa together and all meet up on dale.

I know it will be a sat. morning and all but if you guys want to meet up with the East coast/Lakeland crew to ride out to Desoto then you will have to plan earlier because we are going to be getting there around 11 tp be starting the food stuff. But you can always get directions and head out at your own time. =) But yes, the Best Buy on Dale Mabry is a great meeting spot.

If you hate big crowds and lots of cars this meet is not for you! I talked to some friends who said they have 20+ people coming so if you add all of them and all of us, etc etc...that equals a hell of a lot of people. I even know of some people coming from out of state. Should be great, spread the word, make sure you are planning ahead for this one...we won't feel sorry for you if at the last min. you forgot to take off work, etc.

Sure! The Lakeland people are meeting up at 9:15 and leaving at 9:30 on the dot! from the old books a million parking lot on s. fl ave (where golds gym is) we are meeting the tampa crew at best buy on dale mabry/i4 at 10:15-10:30...and riding out from there....so

YES...we are leaving Lakeland right at 9:30 and should be at the Dale Mabry Best Buy at 10:15-10:30 and we will leave there at 10:30
