CFR Rallycross Time to play in the clay

East Bay Raceway Rallycross Sunday September 30th Gates open 8:30 AM First car off By 10:00 The course will utilize the existing 100-75' wide oval and infield Kart track with some obsticals thrown in.

Anyone who has never run on clay before, when packed down it's very resistant to ruts and has good grip. the transistions are nice and smooth so we should have no problem using the infield and kart track. it should be a great event and only 10 min from downtown tampa

how big of a track is this going to be? Im not going to run, but I wanna come shoot photos, rally-x is kinda fun

Not yet, we just finalized the event yesterday. I have the CFR guys working on this one, I just helped them out to find and secure a site and get them rolling. Hopefully I won't have to do too much on this one.

i'd like to, its about 10 minutes from my house, so i'll at least spectate....i'll just try and remember and register early and not be a deadass :(

what type of tires are good to run on this surface? i know in tennis when one plays on a clay court they slide very easily. i know its different kinds of clay but wanted to ask. thanks
