New to this forum, from St. Louis
Hey guys, I'm currently in St. Louis but am moving down to Sarasota at the end of September. I have an 04 STI with minor mods and am looking to meet some new people in the area to hang out. Are there people from Sarasota/Bradenton on here? I am definitely down for meets.

welcome to TR. Sarasota has Bradenton Motorsports Park which has a 1/4 mile track. I am sure going up there on test n tunes, races, Tampa Racing nights you're bound to meet people. We also have members on here from that area who can tell you about local meets. Have a safe move.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

Sorry for being late, but welcome to the area. As mentioned below, we do go to the track in Bradenton as much as possible. We also have a weekly meet in Sarasota at the Hooters on 41 & Clark Rd. if you'd like to come out once you get settled in.
