96 plymouth voyager ac problem

im having trouble with my ac in the mini van. yea, its a mini....hahaha

anyways the ac light is blinking like crazy. im trying to get some trouble diag codes but no luck. i think im doing it wrong.

i was taugh like this, 1- blower on high, 2- turn temp to coldest, 3- press rear washer button simultaneously for 5 sec. is that right?

Set Blower motor ON HIGH
Set Mode position to Panel
Set Temperature to Cold (Both slide pots if equipped)
Depress WASH and REAR WIPER button simultaneously for 5 Seconds (Until all LED's light)
