Which Photoshop???

Ok soooo which photoshop should i use for simple tasks just to add text and do little effects to your pics. I dl'd photoshop beginners 3.2 or sumshit and i cant do anythine with it..lmk asap thanx guys

ive used photoshop 6 and up. the one i like the most is photoshop 7. if you just want to add text or whatever, you ms paint. for some little effects, try irfanview. its an ok little program that lets you do dumb little things with pictures.

i haven't mess around with text affects yet but i'm sure CS2 will do it and even more

all versions of PS will do what you need. you need to get a full version to get all of the functionality. PS 7 and higher treats text layers differently so you actually have more control over those elements.

CS2 FTW they are releasing newer version to much these days
