If you want to talk about which cars had vtec and which ones didn't, go to h/a tech. Lets talk about photography here.
Ok so i shoot with a rebel xt also. Just for some helpful criticism, the shots aren't that great.
But i think the reason is just something as simple as your settings.
You should be...
* In Action Mode (Setting with the guy in motion)
* ISO set to 1600 or the highest setting (Gives a more crisp picture of the car)
* Try riding with someone else to take the pics. The less shake in your hands the better.
* Focus on the car. Not the picture as a whole.

ok.
off topic, but how does everyone feel about the rebel xt, compared to other cameras of the similar type.

i use all manual settings. i was driving and was like hey i wanna try this. 1. i didnt take the time to make the settings exactly right. 2. blurry because one hand. 3. higher ISO is going to make the picture more grainy.

p.s. camera is awesome. i love it. i dont normally shoot vehicles but i want to start. i mainly shoot action stuff like bmx. but i def recommend it.

False...
Believe me. In the day time, it WONT make the pic grainy. If any, its not noticeable at all. Ive been shooting for a very long time with the rebel and have mastered any and everything you need to know about it.

Well your 50/50 right.
Use a higher iso when your "subject is moving."
A higher iso does give you grain. But more so at night.
Oh and there is nothing wrong with driving and shooting at the same time. I've done it for rolling shots too:D
Ill try and get you a pic up in a sec...

look it up if you don't believe me.. might have been 95 actually... but Daredevil is right keep it on topic
Anyways the pictures look a little to close to the car for me, back it up a little and definitely steady that shaky hand.

haha I've been debating between the two. I think I've decided on going with a fully built h23 setup. :D
