lol I wish it was just a render, I wound up with almost 12 layers on the stupid thing, but now that I'm looking at it after getting some sleep. I think it sucks too.

I like the drums one, it looks cool.

The drums one is def. better, good job on that one.

Little thing to fix, add some black and white (with the properties of the layer set to like overlay or softlight) of the brush you have with the brown on the right (yes I see it =]). It'll add more depth to the image if you can place it right and can understand the concept.

2nd one = +1.

The brush on the right is a very sad attempt to hide part of the amps. I'll give what you said a shot tomorrow evening after work. Man I kinda figured this would be like riding a bike but I guess I've forgotten quite a bit. lol

Dont get me wrong, it doesnt look bad or anything - honestly. Ready for poor analogy : Its like getting dressed, you cant match everything except your socks, something will stand out.

If you just placed the brush a few more times (or the same type of brush, dont get repetitive) around the picture and faded it more so you can barely see it, but still see it, it'll just bring the depth and overall appeal out more. (Thats some bad grammar... forgive me.)
