jdm honda god i need help zc question

Default jdm honda god i need help zc question

ok so my friend has a ef hatch with a d168 block and d15 head the jdm zc head so the gut who had the car before him wired up the vtec through a tach YES A TACH when u turn the key once it lights up the tach and u adjust it where u want ur vtec to hit were are gonna wire this car up the right way i knoe we need to run the vtec wire through the ecu but i dont know whut ecu to use its obd1 so is it the p08 ecu ? someone help

Neither is VTEC. So I want to see pictures of the VTEC ZC head. As for the ECU to run a VTEC head, you can use a P08 IF you are running a 1 wire o2 sensor. If you are/want to run a 4 wire o2 sensor you need the P28. P08 is JDM P28 is USDM. Another option is what I did, a P06 reprogrammed to run the SOHC VTEC program. Contact mtber (John Vega) and he'll hook you up. ONE MORE THING...Your distributor HAS to be the same OBD as the ECU in the ED (We live in USA not Japan). So in summary you need a P28 or equivalent ECU with proper o2 sensor, OBD 0 -> OBD 1 jumper harness and an OBD 1 distributor....Whew
