Lowering '66 F100 ... need help with front I-Beams.
Anyone successfully lower an I-Beam setup without Dream Beams or the equivalent in any other brand?
Changing over to disc brakes and wish to lower this short bed as we do the job. Rear spring flip is easy, just wondering about the front suspension options.

Not up on that. We have purchased all the mid-70's parts to do OE brake upgrade.
Wondering how to get around buying I-Beam upgrade ... Dream Beams are too pricey, IMO.

cant get around buying the beams, unless you want to keep buying tires. you can get a mustang II front kit and put that on

Dream beams are the way to go if wanting to drop a beamed Ford. Done tons, no real competition for the older ones. Newer ones Belltech makes them but they are more money.
MII is really the way to go, honestly. I have done these on numerous vehicles with awesome results. Better handling, steering, more brake options, manual or power, etc.
I am a DJM dealer/installer, also a TCI dealer manufacturer of MII clips. Have used other companys, alot are very similar.
LMK if I can help or answer any questions

Thanks guys ... this 66 is soon to be back on the front burner --- busy with Fox bodies for my boys currently.
