I may come spectate, sounds pretty cool. They raised the prices on the 1/4 track this year, too. We bitched, but still pay it. I think it's cool to have a place to do this locally.

and you'll run out of tires before you run out of laps.

ok, maybe you dont have a car up and running (like my self) maybe you cant afford it (like myself) but come out and watch, this should be a good event, if we have a good turn out this is going to become a permanent spot, and us tampa people need somthing somewhat close. There is no offical prereg, just show up and pay, How ever, my self and brett are trying to gather a list of Drivers, just so we can get a rough estimate on how many people we need to plan on, this will hopefully help with staging set up and run times etc etc, im going to repost the latest information in a min, as of right now, please show up and watch at the very least, track owner will love us all forever if we have a good turn out. Drivers, please PM me with your name so we can start a list, and names of any of your friends not on the list who are attending, add spectators if you would like.

After the 24th, there will be no more thursday drift practice, its getting too big, circle track guys are hating us, so the owner is giving us our very own day, just for drift practice, the only day he can give us so far is sunday. It will still be the same price, only no waiting in line behind cirlce track, just balls out drifint.

A good ABC fire extinguisher within arms reach.

2. Tech
road worthy car, for those of you that need clarification.
No leaks(oil, coolant, brake fluid, trans fluid, blinker fluid, ect...)
No loose suspension components, functional brakes.
secured battery, decent tires.....P.M. me for details...

If you have (NOPI, Formula D spec)Roll cage, fire suit, and snell approved helmet, including the requirments listed above you can do tandem.

Here's a little course we cooked up for the last hour of the night. The track owner thought it would be cool to have a little 'grassroots' competition, with trophies awarded at the end, during the last hour of the event on the 24th. The whole night will be a free practice with no cones untill the last hour. Which means you can do what ever you want untill the last hour, then we set up the course. We will have a real licenced 'Formula D' driver judge the event to award trophies at the end. Every body gets two runs, to be judged on then its down to a top 4, then final. here's a picture I have no more time left, so PM me for details.

i was very surprised with the turn out. i honestly was not expecting to see that many spectators, particularly because of the fluctuating weather. I mean you will always get the "that guy sucks, or oooop opppppp man i can do that" from the spectators but who cares.

i wasn't really a fan of oval events, particularly because i would have to drive to orlando or wherever else. but having it local is great and offers lots of opportunity and casual seat time.

look forward to the next, maybe the new car can see some action there.
