The first picture looks like something that belongs in a clothing advertisement.
The second one is just cute as hell!

GREAT pics bro:thumbup:

haha thanks! i can definitely see what you mean by the type of casual pose they're doing!

and yeah i liked the 2nd one too. the "leg up while kissing" picture is always a good classic.

i still have some spots to remove and maybe still play around with some colors and borders once i hear back from alexis on which ones she really wants.

smokins13sr20: did you check out the rest of the pics in the album link i posted?

No dude, I haven't but I think I will.
I rushed so I fudged in a few spots, but you get the idea, I think it looks really nice.

HAHAHAHA funny you did that cause i did the EXACT same thing and gave up on it cause the magnetic lasso was being a bitch in some spots cause the hands arent in focus...

I don't actually live there... But I want too.

J/K, But really, those shots are pretty amazing. Who makes the lenses your using? The only downside to any of them, and I would hardly worry about this, is the border on the first one, keep just a solid, single, 2px border instead.

haha yeah it was a nice ass place over i orlando.

Umm both lenses are Nikkors. the kit 18-55 and the 55-200 which i didnt use much for this...

and about the border, idk how it turned out like that i found this site that gave a quick rundown of how to do it, cause im terrible at doing borders, i know its simple but im slowly getting the hang of different PS concepts

Very nice photographs. I myself still use my old Praktica SLR and my Olympus SLRs. I still get a kick out of developing my own pictures more so than taking digital ones. However I do own and use the Nikon D40X and the Canon Digital Rebel XTi and they are a blast to use because you don't waste any film and get instant feedback.

But I really like your photos. Good focus, great framing and contrast, excellent lighting, and great subjects.

Keep up the good work! :bigthumb:

thanks! yeah i'd like to get into film when i get the chance.

i was worried they wouldnt be adequate for engagement pics cause my mom and the bride were saying they'd want more like head shots and stuff, but to myself, i figured scenery with them in it is better showing them together and acting out some candid shots like i have in there ya know? i got a few closer up but i didnt think they were as fun

There all really good. Nice work.

Now did you do the directing also?

Michael.
07-17-2007, 02:58 PM
ehh a little but really not so much. the girls (the brides sister was there with me, we went from her place in tampa) pretty much did all the posing and shit. i just went along with it and took the pics. the sister also took pics. she had her bf's canon P&S but it was one of the bigger P&S's that had a long zoom on it and looks like a baby slr
