Default Few Questions.

Ok I just bought a GS-T today, and when I push on it... Shift at 4500 - 5000 RPMs the car will stall... Oil pressure went up to 75 today also? Took 4 min for the timer. Also was looking into just paying someone to rebuild the 7 bolt? Obviously Brothers Racing... but yea just wanting a little help. Tranny shifts smooth and boosts good, idles perfect, and drives like a dream...

Thanks,
Sam

the stalling thing, i really never figured out. im not venting or anything either. maybe someone can say why and how to fix it. but on the other hand its not really a BIG problem.

it sounds like an iac problem. i know EVERYONE says its ALWAYS the iac, but i have good reasoning!

the iac controls how much air is still allowed to enter your engine after you are completely off the throttle. when you rev high with the car in neutral and then let off the throttle, the iac closes almost all the way or else fully to allow the rpms to drop. then when the rpms get low enough the iac opens again almost fully so that the air "catches" the rpms and holds it steady.

on my car, ill rev it up, and the rpms fall quickly down to 1000, then slowly drop down to 850-900, and stay there.

i take somethng back, SOMETIMES my car will stall if i really get on it, usually only in 1st or 2nd, and then let off the gas and keep it in neutral. i dont know why, but im pretty sure it would be something with the iac.

Sounds like an iac sensor man, you see instead of leaving me hanging you should have just bought mine, and you would have been fine. Oh well you'll learn the hard way!
