i would like to know if its possible to bypass to install a airbag system in my 92 hardbody woth out using a 4 link?

its possible but not really rccomended, theres also 2 links, 3 links, and air over leaf setups that you can use that is not a 4 link. But IMO air over leaf and 2 links are horrible.

you can prolly build build one, dont know of any people locally that sell 4 links that cheap, you can get a great one online for 289.00 here 4Link Kits Thorbecke Brothers - Triangulated 4-Link (http://www.suicidedoors.com/Triangulated4-Link.php)

Deleaf setups ride O.K. only if its a 4cyl auto truck. And I use the term O.K. loosely. I just did an S-10 ext cab per customer demand. It did not bottom out on c-notch by maybe 1/2". There was no cutting wanted on body, so no hole in bed. I highly suggest a 3 or 4 link like Mike said.
I have a universal Triangulated poly bushed 4-link in stock $290.00 as well as other air ride parts.
LMK if I can help

Depends on what components you want. I mean on average its around a $1000 in parts for everything on cheap side. LMK I have most items in stock to look at and get an idea of what your looking at.

There one of the most reputable companies out there IMO.They also have a section on the s10forum message board where you can post or pm them about any conserns or questions you may have about your order.I bought from AIM and got ripped an extra 36$ on my credit card and had 3 out of 4 bags blow(1 in my front yard & 2 while driving).Luckly the 2 while driving where at low speeds and I didnt lay frame at the time.I now run Slam Speciaties and would suggest them to anyone bagging there ride.Good luck with whatever you choose.

Those places are reasonable prices, suicide doors, enhanced concepts, and hotrides mag, that aim ebay stuff is complete CRAP. Just think about this, this is your suspension that supports your car and controls your car/truck, do you really want to be cheap about it, considering it has control of your life and anyone else that rides with you. Good quality isnt cheap, and if you buy the cheap shit, expect nothing but problems, i have to fix peoples air suspension set ups everyday because they didnt want to spend the money and do it right the 1st time.

We can do it here. What year is your Q, what size wheels, where do you want everything located? Do you want everything show quality or standard parts? Let me know.

Well, I haven't even picked up the car yet. It should have 19's with very low offset and I would want it to be quality, but function would be more priority than show if push came to shove.... I'm looking at a 1997-2000 Q by the way

Well you have 2 choices as far as strut setups are concerned. I can use factory struts and add the bag to them, (I would really suggest new struts at this time). I will have to modify them for the brackets to sit flat and most cases cut the upper strut bearing cup and weld it on the new upper bag/strut plate. If they are available(depending on your preference on ride and performance) buy the adjustable damping units if prefered. Doing it this way would be the cheaper way, and get whatever parts you want. The other way is the complete Air Runner setup from Japan. Badass strut assemblys, but a real slow and small air management system. The bad part is you cannot get just there struts, you have to order the whole expensive kit, and it takes about 6-8 weeks to get it. There is a guy that has the whole Air Runner setup on his Lexus around here and hates there air management kit. So he is bringing it to me to update it soon. LMK what you think.

I have been looking into Air runner actually. I think that if my insurance ever pays me I may be getting a y33 with coilovers in teh front so I would just ad some in the back to start. Then down the road add Air over that!

Hello
Glad to hear u finally got ur car! Put in a 5gal stainless tank, Viair 480 compressor, but he kept there manual valve system, because he was running short on $ after redoing the stereo. But later on he will be upgrading the valves to electric. Its a little faster now due to the fact I can crank up the pressure in the tank now. Its alot more show now than before. I would personally go with the Universal Air setup. But LMK what you think, Ill get some pics of the Lexus and show you.
thanx

^ Cool, It's funny that you say that because I have been hearing the same thing. Universal air is supposed to be much faster... It's still "future plans" right now, but I do want to get this done eventually..
