I have two 10" subs, they are both competition 1200 watt each. Amp is 2 channel, pushes both subs equal power. This system is only about 1 1/2 a year old. Comes with system cables. ok...let me set all this shit straight...I work at circuit city and we sell sony subs for 110 each...the reason we sell them for that much is because we dont buy many....the reason walmart sells there stuff for so cheap is cause they buy in such a huge bulk that they can sell it for that cheap....they only mark the subs up a little and move alot of them out the door...as where best buy and CCity only buy a little and move a little...cause there are way better brands out there...and dont ever try to compare sont xplode stuff to anything compitition...sony is getting out of car audio here soon as well....why?? you may ask...cause its shitty...we sell the same sony subs as best buy and the subs that both of us carry ....walmart also carries...STOP asking 400 for them even if it was from circuit city or best buy...you can buy all that brand new for 400 at CCity or BBuy.....and if your trying to compare the way they look....heh good luck trying to pull that one off cause sony changes style every year...and the red faced subs from sony are the fucking low end ones....sooo there not comp get that shit straight and fucking learn how to spell dumbass....

I used to be sponsored by Sony Mobile about 6-7 years ago! Let me be the last to say, NON OF THIS IS COMPETITION... I'm not going to bash your system but all of their old school competition stuff was dvc (dual voice coiled) and their competition amps were monoblocked... The subs were silver in color (w/a red center) and the amp's were red! Also, dont tell me that you bought it in a store b/c non of this was available to the public!!! There was one store (and only one store you could buy/ get it with the right connection!) PLAIN AND SIMPLE, IF YOU DIDNT BUY IT AT AUDIO ITCH, IT'S NOT COMPETITION!!! It was my job to "convince" people to buy Sony products b/c "their's could sound just like mine!" It was a joke and I'm long out of the systems... I'm back to 100% OEM...

well thats not true soundadvise sold all you are talking about,because i was going to build mine with those items but when with bostons...this was about 6years ago..but sony subs are made very well they are made to hit so many different pitches they are very good subs very hard to blow

Sony competition subs are actually pretty decent... Soundadvice had the high end DVC Explod subs... They didnt have the Sony Mobile competition line... Sony mobile didnt have Explod written anywhere on the sub's or amps... I'm telling you Audio Itch was the only place (besides the Sony mobile Sponsorship office) was the only place who was able to get the competition series, and thats b/c they had a contract w/ Sony for the instalation of my truck... I'm not going to get into it and I really dont care about his system, I just dont like it when people mis-represent their items they are selling...
