It's definitely a good thing to do. I've personally done it myself and it's made my headlights look so much better. It's really not that hard or time consuming, as one might think.

My personal suggestion is to do that, then get yourself a pack of Xenon headlights if you can. You will see soooo much clearer at night!

Yeah, I certainly saw better with some 8000k (http://www.neverburnout.com/HID-Xenon-Conversion-Kit-H3-p/kit-h3.htm)s. I'm thinking of a different temperature though.
