Well, If you have ever ridden in a fox body XR-7 Cougar, you know what I'm talking about when I say these fuckers can take a corner very nicely:lol: Laugh all you want and you can get a ride in it:mullet:

Now, I'm more of a drag fellow, but nothing is wrong with taking twisties.

I was thinking about throwing a set of lakewood 50/50s into the rear, they were only $50.

I wanna keep it on the cheap-er side, which doesn't mean only $1.02:grin:

Anyone know about the Edelbrock IAS that are suppose to adjust to the driving style? Personal experiences?

What do you think would benefit me on the strip but not hurt me on the corners?

As far as these Edelbrock IAS shocks, I looked up a little about them and I think your description is a little misleading. From what I've read, the IAS shocks are your typical high-speed/low-speed shocks that use one type of valving for low speed damping (cornering, braking, accelerating) and open another valve for reduce high-speed damping (big bumps). This allows for stiff damping for normal conditions and a release in pressure when you hit a big bump. From what I read, it doesn't seem to have anything that adapts to your driving style. Also, this high-speed/low-speed valving is fairly common, most companies just don't even mention it.

As far as the lakewood dampers.....I don't know about them.

What will benefit you the most is using 50/50's for the street, and swapping shocks for drags.

Unless a person is a SERIOUS drag racer, whatever you use on the street is OK for drags. If you are a serious drag racer, then you don't mind swapping shocks for dragging.-Bob
