My buddy wants to trade a '71 Triumph semi basket case

For pretty much anything that runs. A CB750 or other 70's-era cruiser/standard would be preferable. The Triumph is a chopped, ratted, and runs, it just needs some love and attention. The bike is bad ass, but he just doesn't have the technical know-how to keep a 70's Brit bike running. Here's a pic:

That's bad ass. I was looking at a 66 sportster today cause I'm selling the crotch rocket. What does he want to get for that bike? I assume it needs work since you brought up the "technical know how" part.
