I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

I'm guessing because Bradenton was booked up and people wanted something closer to the bay. I admit i'm not thrilled about it either but a fast car is a fast car...1/4 or 1/8.

I don't know why you guys are hating on the 1/8. That is where you all need the practice and need to learn how to setup your cars' to hook at. Too many 14.5@190 1/4mile post because you don't focus on where it matters.
