this guy wants to put 4 10's and a 4ch amp in my truck and he said that the amp would put out 100 watts to each speaker, im not sure if thats very good for how much im going to be paying him. if anyone can help me by saying how many watts each speaker should get and what a 4 channel amp is next to a regular amp id appreciate it, thanks

uhhh posting how much you're planning to spend might help a lot.....

And 100 watts to each speaker RMS is decent... what sort of amp is it, brand, speakers brand, speaker's capability rms, coaxial/component.... that sort of stuff might help a lot...:nerd:

Number one, you need to find out how many voice coils, and the ohms of each subwoofer. Then, depending on that, if possible I would go with a mono class d amp stable down to 1 or 2 ohms. I've never been a fan of running subs off a 4channel amp.
