To all the guys at Brothers Racing I need to say thank you. I bought my aging 1992 Talon about a year ago not really knowing how strong the motor was with 197,000 miles on it. Everything else on the car was well cared for so I just went on my gut.

The guys checked everything out and gave me a thumbs up on the motor. It was unknown how long ago the timing belt was changed but they checked it and saw it was good. Could have easily asked me to replace it. Thanks for the honesty on that and saving me some cash.

Now, to mod or not to mod that is the question. I'm thinking more stock than anything. Anyone have the Apex'i N1 installed so I can ride in the car and check out the sound? I'm looking for something that won't be so loud to annoy me while I'm listening to the stereo.

Sorry for the long post. BTW dyno day looked like lots of fun.

Thanks
Ryan

Thanks for the compliments on the car. The guy I bought it from took really good care of it, and stayed on top of the maintenance.

I would love to have a second DSM to mess around with, but my wife would probably kill me if I bought another car. We have 3 already and one of them needs to go. I think the 2GNT will go first.

Definately a very clean 1G ..

Whoever had it before you did very well on keeping on top of the maint. Perfect compression on a 200k motor isn't something you find everyday lol

I'd say go with a Thermal or a Buschur exhuast on the 1G a little stealthier looking and deeper sounding . While still being mellow .
