Gainesville Test and Tune

There is a Gainesville Test and Tune on the calendar for this weekend. Has any one gone to one? Is it worth the $50.00 fee? Plenty of track time?

Any thoughts or suggestions?

i havent taken my car down the strip but i spectate / have friends that do and you do get plenty of track time. havent gone on a saturday but i go wendesdays and i belive its 5-11 and its non stop racing until 11

Hi. He is referring to the small road course track that is part of the track in Gainesville. It is used for Autox and road course set ups.

p.s. I would love to run my CRX down the drag strip sometime in the future as well.

oh ok . ya ive seen people run it , i didnt kno the autoX was considered test and tune. sorry for the confusion

SCCA (and maybe other clubs) run autocrosses there. I believe the test & tune events are put on by the track owner and some other guy. It's not run like an autocross. You just run the road course one lap at a time. No course working, no times, just line up and run.
