so i launched my car at around 4500rpm and its breaks the tires loose and i go to shift into second and it wouldnt go in at all... so i pull over to the side of the road... turn the car off my friend checked some stuff that went out on his car in a similar incident.. and so i push it into gear and it went in fine so i was like hmm maybe somehting screwed up so i start it then it wouldnt go in gear... then i shut it back off and put it in gear and turn it on and it just started to struggle so i shut it off..... he thinks the splines stripped out becaus ehe had it happen to him with his act 6puck and thats what i have.. anyone have any ideas?

ouch. sounds like second gear may have taken a shit on you. I would think it wouldn't have since the tranny can hold a lot more power. Does it take all other gears?

well i know the sti tranny is bullet proof but with that 6 puck on it really puts stress on the gears... plus with all the stuff you got done kyle... id take it to jestos and have them look at it!

 

I have 100's of launches on my car with that clutch,which could lead me to saying maybe it wasnt installed right? Sounds like a busted tranny though.

 

kyle have you ever grinded 2nd?? can you put it in 2nd and slowly take off?

 

you are still on the stock turbo though right? If so...Kyle is making a lot more power.

 

Kyle, Is it just grinding when ypou try to get 2nd? If it is then it might just be the syncro. Try double clutching into second and see if it takes.
