Default aftermarket intake on a 2g

Well someone took the stock air cleaner and maf off of my non turbo 2g talon way before i bought it. It has a shaky idle, which tells me this car needs the maf to properly run at the lower rpm's. So my question is, Does this car need a MAF to run properly, or is fine w/o one. thanx

it needs a maf to tell the computer how much air is flowing in so yes you will need one for daily driving use... and you are going to need to recirculate the bov to the intake as well unless you have a maf translator
