just need the clutch cable preferably used. or if someone knows where i could get it less than $250 (dealer). would help alot. Thanks! -Cody

Clutch cable or shift cable?

The clutch cable is $89.00, the shift cables sell for $199.00.

Junkyard!!! A cable from any 1st gen (95-99) neon will work.

its the clutch cable. i know all about those shift selector cables though, had them go out on me about 10000 miles ago.. but where would i be able to get a clutch cable for any first gen neon for $89? i have been calling up used parts stores for the past day and a half looking. all i can find is the dealers sell it for $269 (rip-off). you-p$ull-it yard i guess? thanks for all the help though guys.

I dunno where the $269 price comes from. Is that an installed price maybe?

Call a dealer and give them part # 4670400. That is a clutch cable for 95-99 Neons

A few years back, I order shift cables for my '95 before I discovered Booger Bushings and the cables where not cheap. Had to buy as complete assembly.

Clutch cable is cheap but I would not trust a junkyard part for that duty unless your looking for a temp. backup incase your stuck on a back country road and need it.
