on a 99 wrangler sport 4.0L 5spd with a 6 in suspension lift from skyjacker and 3 inch body lift.

That's a hell of a lift, I would think just about anything you can throw at it. Keep in mind though, that 4.0 is going to be rather sluggish pushing somehting like a 40"+ tire. And anything over 33's is going to require regearing the differentials. And if you plan on actually wheeling it, you'll want to upgrade the axles all together because the stockers will snap like toothpicks if you start beating on them with a huge tire on there.


Faced with the situation, I would go with a 37" tire with 17" wheel. Would look great, and still be somewhat functional on the street (around town). Just don't expect to take it ona any long trips.

Myself, I have a 4" Superlift with a 1" body lift and 1/2" spacers on the front coils. I run a 33" mud terrain with 15" wheels. I personally wouldn't go any bigger because I'd rather not sacrifice so much drivability.

like spyder said i would go with 37s on a bigger wheel..and you need better axles that are geared...or that thing wont go anywhere..just look good in the driveway..

well the lift kit comes with dana 60 front and rear diff's

Since when did the Skyjacker kit come with axles?? Or is this a package deal through a store?

i was about to say..never heard of a lift kit coming with axles..lol..well if thats the case..re-gear the axles and put whatever size tires on it you want..personally i wouldnt go any bigger than 37s..
