Ok, I was offered a great deal on what the title lists. It has less than 5k on the bike. I can't really find any good reviews on the bike. I am looking for a midrange bike, something out of the norm. I am use to the CBR's, Gixxers and my old R1 . What are your opnions on the Ducati? How does it compare to say bikes in it's class? top speed, 1/4 and handleing.

Just everyones thoughts to help make my decision easier, cuz if not this than my buds zx10r. Again I want something out of the norm and this bike kinda stands out to me.

 

maintenance nightmare......unless you gots $$$ or are Duc certified....they're a bitch....

 

dood get the zx10. the r1 would smoke a ducati. all it has going for it is its cornering abilities. that and every 9k on the duc its like a 1500 dollar maintainance fee that can only be done at the dealer. fawk that shit yo!

 

its actually at about 6k and the zx10 will smoke the r1 seen it with my own 2 eyes both experianced riders

and to add insult to injury the r1 had pc3, slipon gyt-r pipes, funnel stacks, bmc air filter, plus a dyno tune about 163 rwhp and 76 tq...the 05 zx10 which is a member on here dont remember him but it was orange just a slip-on....yosh rs-3 and beat the r1 by a bike or 2.....YAMAHA FTL!!!!!!!!!!

Yeh i love the 04-05 but they def went in the wrong direction with the 06.
