I ran on the motor tonight

1st run From a Degggg. 06 GT With a roush blower 5 pound pully and exhaust thats it... 340~ to the wheels Put buses on him

2nd run same car Put a few cars on him

3rd run 05-07 Black GT Boltons 4.10s Gave him a car and the hit Ran him down and as soon as I started to pull by a fender or so we let off.


My car 01 gt Intake pullys x pipe rustmasters 4.10s and a shitty 2 valve motor that makes no power and its slow:lol:

What did you run till 70 mph? I can bet damn well he would have ran your ass down all day every day. I can see from what you posted about your car that it is set up for a great 1/8th car and if it has N02 or something to strech those gears hard a good 1/4 car too. However I bet after around 100 mph or so your car starts to loose it's "hard pull".

Want to see who's is really faster or has more power. Then as much as I hate to say it, go from a 30-40 mph roll. It takes out the acceleration edge that you have with 4:10's and the sticky tires.

Again not knocking you car. I am just saying that your car is set up for a short burst a bit better than his. In the long run I would say his car is faster. It's two cars with different set ups.

he is a good driver. he beat my s197 w/ 480rwhp from a dig-100mph. (bad traction, bad clutch, bad driver) doesnt matter a loss is a loss.
we did race from a 40mph roll it was a very diffrent story.

I raced a black s197 the other night. had chrome wheels and some bright hids. dont know if its the car you ran chris.
40roll no traction (street tires) pull half a car in second bouncing off the rev limiter untill 60mph. granny shift into thrid still pulling when i had traction up one car untill 5800rpm no traction i went straight to redline and bounced off the rev limiter four or five times. then he started to come up on me a little because the whole redline escapade. he had momentum but i was still ahead half a car i shift into fourth no traction problems and started pulling again. i let out after 10-15mph more in fourth up one car. it was a really close race due to traction problems. still a good race traction or not. dont know if it was the head and cam mustang or the procharged mustang.


chris im getting a new clutch and short throw so i dont have to granny shift. lets make a plan to goto bmp some time next month. i want my 11 second time slip.

First off I am not knocking his car or saying it's slow, or calling it gay, I own one too. Hell I bet it is nice and does what it is set up to do well. I am saying it is set up for a different kinda racing than the car he raced is. That is it and nothing more.

I already said his car will more than likey beat me in a 1/8th mile or light to light race. I Hhave bald 255's out back street tires and zero care to change them anytime soon.

Unless he has more than he is say then I have him coverd. But I still don't care.


He has a 01 5spd GT correct. So do I.

He has full bolt on's with 4:10's correct? So do I.

He has a nitous, I have a 8psi blower (Paxton Novi 2000).

I have crower cams, full M.M. suspention and 28 spline Aurburn axles. Also a few other things (Injectors, Subframes, Throttle body,etc.) .

I am not turning this into a "who's car is faster". You want to run. Well come to Safet Harbor. My car sits in my back yard and gets driven to Golds gym on Mcmullen and 5-80 every week day at 8:00am and thats it. I don't race it, show it, or even care to drive it.

Hell for $13.500 obo it's yours.

All I am saying it was two different styles of cars and thats it.

I never said "I" race from 70 mph and up. Don't put words in my mouth.

I Have a 8psi Paxton Novi Blower with crower cams and injectors. That makes a good bit over power. I also said "close to" not "exact or more" rwhp.

No need I have 4:10's to and 28 spline Auburn axles.I have very bald tires and no plans to buy new ones either. I also have a factory tune and have no care to change that either. (put 439 rwhp on stock tune). With a tune the car should be in the 470 -500 rwhp area. I just don't care to invest another dime into the car.

I want to sell it actually. Someone else can finish it up.

So that is nice you would race me. however I wont race you or anyone for that matter. I have had my fun in my car and have had my share of racing. I have broke enough and am just over it.

So as far as that goes you win brother.
