A clean well-kept bike (meaning NEVER been down and preferrably not even dropped). MUST have a clean title - nothing shady.
Must be fuel-injected and nothing older than a 2001. Looking in the $5,000 range. annnnnnnd whatcha got?

ahhhhahaha, do we miss the lil' F4i? I'm not going to lie, I would buy ANOTHER one (making it 3, and the only kind of street bike, that I've owned) G/L on getting a deal :bigthumb:

I found a SWEET f4i on craigslist but I'm still waiting to hear back from the guy. Probably gone by now :(

Nooooo it wasn't that red/black one. I know which one you're talking about. It's a different one.

ehh I don't want ANYTHING that has cracks in it. I'm serious when I say that I want something that's never been down. It seems like it's getting harder and harder to find them though because so many idiots ride bikes nowadays.

Sorry, didn't really read through that ad, Don't go buy an F41 For $5000 though, You can Find a 600rr for that. There is a 04 600rr on Myspace for $5500 obo.

5 for an f4i? shit they were only worth 4500 2 years ago. If someone can get 5k for one now id be impressed (although it wouldn't suprise me since the FL bike market has gotten outta hand now). For 5k Krystal, depending on how antsy you are, Id hold out to find one from someone in need of money or some other situation that causes them to HAVE to sell. You could prob save quite abit of $$$ :)
BTW: what are you interested in? 600 - 1000's? or just 600's or ???? What manuf. would you PREFER to get?

This was the bike: RED HOT!! 2001 Honda CBR600 F4i 12k miles (http://tampa.craigslist.org/mcy/330129736.html)
Still waiting to hear whether or not its been down...with my luck it's already sold anyway.
But to answer your questions, I'm not TOO antsy. I DO want to come across a great deal so I know that I'll have to wait some time for that. As for specifics, I will consider all sizes of bikes...even 1000's...though I'd LIKE a 750...but for what I've seen, I don't think I'll get a decent one at a good price. So with that said, I'm considering all manufacturers...including Yamahas believe it or not ;)

why don't you want it if it's been dropped? Bikes fall over, it's a natural tendency for them to do so. Rarely does a drop do anything mechanically and Im sure you are on the in with the mechanics at the dealership so Im sure they'd be more than willing to help out a pretty young woman such as yourself in giving it a once over.
DRZ400SM for sale, $5,000 obo (http://orlando.craigslist.org/mcy/330969968.html)
be cool and get that ^ :lmao:
Find guys like this
02 suzuki gsxr 750 (http://orlando.craigslist.org/mcy/322468866.html)
and start making offers IMO. 6k for an 02 is waaaay expensive IMO.
:) 2003 Suzuki GSXR 750 take over payments (loan) and (http://orlando.craigslist.org/mcy/318870900.html) <--- is a good deal if you got the cash in your hand. Offer to pay it off and talk him down from his $900. :bigthumb:

Well I PREFER not dropped but DEFINITELY don't want a bike that's been down. I want a bike that was babied...but was ridden as well. So basically any bike I buy is going to be from someone a little bit older who values what he has
That 750 is a good deal...but I'd want to see the "scratches" and stuff. Many people under estimate said "damages" when it comes to the appearance of the bike. I would prefer something a little more modded but definitely keeping that in mind. That ad was posted late last month so it might be gone now too.

I'd consider parting with mine.
2001 Kawasaki ZX6R
6,1XX Miles
Yoshi RS3 Slip On
It did fall on the right side in my garage (one time) that is the only time is has ever been down. There are small scratches on the raised area of the right lower fairing.....those are the only faults with the bike at all.

I'm looking for something a bit newer than that if it's going to be a Kawi. The only way I would take an 01 is if it's an f4i (I like the body style of that one)

haha, i just realized i've been cluttering up your WTB thread. So on that note, G/L with your purchase and post up pics when she's in the driveway :) Or do women prefer "GUY" motorcycles? LOL And +1 on the style of F4i's, sooo timeless and way before their time.
