2jz motor and tranny cost?

im looking to buy a N/A 2jz with manual trans. does DC sell motors or only if you allow them to put it in also? thanks for any help,

You are looking at around 6K with the V160.

2JZ/V160 swap will run you in about the 15K mark +/- when its all said and done. Without the 6SP tranny it would be much much cheaper.

You can always go R154. Holds 800+rwhp and the clutch setups are cheaper than the V160. It all depends on how deep your pockets are :).

My supra is a rare 95 hard top, with the full TT swap down to the brakes. Pretty soon it will be a GT4276 powered beast, once I am done with the shop's 2JZ projects.

R154 = MK3 5spd. W58 = MK4 5spd. The R154 is much more stout.

Also, Kirk, there were over 1,050 HTs in '95. I wouldn't call them that rare. It was the most common year hardtops, even.

Actually there were 33 NA 5SP Hard tops and 18 TT hard tops in 95 without counting the SE base models.

Not officially. Should be gone by next week, though. Was nice enough to hold it for some bitch for over 2 months who flaked out on me. The problem now is that more options for my next car have opened up...now I'm torn. :(
