John Connor vs Terminator

This just goes to show, if you beg, bitch, and wine about getting the race that has every advantage to your liking, its is semi-possible to beat a terminator cobra from a roll.... With a factory blower :lol: And no nitrous :lol: With a stock turbo powered SRT4.

Race #1: Sourskittle vs the really fast cobra from Lakeland ( chip/tune, ported blower, pulley, 3.73 gears, exhuast etc etc whatever... 40-ish MPH roll ( b/c both are speedo's are off ). He gives me the hit b/c I'm a weak mother f-er. My car acts right for once EVER, and spools up, doesn't kill the DRs at 50mph, nitrous comes on, and we're off. My hit ended up being like a 1/2 car. Through 3rd I think I pulled maybe another 1/2 car ( 1 cars total now ), then I shift 4th and pray. At 120mph I shut down with both are noises being basiclly even. Should be a video up in the next little bit.

Race #2: We go from a dig. Cobra puts 7 cars on me out the hole, and I can't even come close to catching up ( ok, that didn't happen, but it would have if I'd agreed to race from a stop. ).

I got a ride in the cobra, and damn, my car just doesn't have the surge of power when shifting like it does ( even with the bottle ). Maybe its turbo or what ever, but it was a fun ride. This happened to be while he was racing a M-couple ( 240hp version ) with a 225shot. Cobra wins...

Nice how 1 semi-truck and 2 passenger cars passed us, and that's all it took to get the po out there to run us off.

I got a tag light ticket b/c my lazer jammer covers up the tag light. Better to get a fix it ticket, then to get a speeding ticket...

Tried to get more people to race, but everyone was suddenly scared to get beat or even race for that matter... The whole point in driving 20 miles from the city is to race a lot. Not talk in the dark vs talking in the light....

I forgot to meantion that this race I was on 93oct., no water injection ( broken check valve ), and I had a boost line that would pop off everytime the nitrous would come on and I couldn't stop it ( its about the size of your smallest finger ).

I was/am extremely happy with my car. That cobra beats eveyones ass ( most the time anyway ), and I was just racing for fun to see how many cars I got beat by.

Dean, sorry I dragged everyone out there and we got ran off so quick, but normally its not an issue at all, and I was really hoping to see a bunch of runs by everyone ( fast and slow ). I didn't wanna drive out there anymore than everyone else, my FWD eats up drag rad. like chicken wings, then I know I have to drive 20 miles back with 18psi in them. But I really thought we could race for a good while without issue. It really pissed me off that less than 3 people saw us out there, and someone called the cops. Then the cops wanna be cool and try to speed trap us on the way back.

I'm just gonna start racing right in front of books. If I see lights, I'll just dip into my garage a block away. They can't cut us some slack for racing where almost no one and nothing is, then we should race in the most dangerous place possible. Fucking ass wipes.

the girl that came out there was pretty nice after she found out the situation, but was kinda stern while establishing her authority n stuff. she was kinda pissed at the dumb ass sulfer truck driver for calling her all the way out there from combee rd. area just for that! lol she knew that me and the other guy out there werent racing so she talked to us for a while and then let us go. she said that she didnt really expect to find anyone out there by the time she drove all that way from her area. prob. if she hadnt been called away, she could've caught some real criminals out there in the combee ghetto!!!:roll:

i hate it being so dark too. my camera has "auto" focus, so any light changes throw it off when its pitch black. IE brakes lights at the line, OR someone walking infront of the headlights. ill bring my tripod this weekend.
