my 240sx wont rev over like 3000 rpms and it wont hold it when it gets that high either help me out.

Check for some major vacuum leaks and check your maf sensor and lines.
also is a ka or sr20?

Sounds like the maf sensor,will it bog down after 3k?

Take off the Maf and Clean it..:dunno:
it sounds like you may need a new one if thats the problem..

check connections to MAF, check the MAF, unplug the maf and run it to see if it runs the same

Also check the brake booster, there is a vaccuum line coming from there, going to the intake manifold.

ok i checked my maf and it was super clean and the connection was clean too. But i notice it had 3 prongs one 4 connction pieces on the plug in. is that differnt from you guys pulg ins.I also repaced fuel filter and put lucus fuel injecter cleaner. And it is still messed up

and that fuel filter was a z32 ona and it was brand fukin new lol..its got a full tuine up done so dont waist your time spending anymore money on her

sometimes if you have the aftermarket maf adaptor's it fucks up shit so I'd the stock "thingie" <--haha sorry .. lame ass slept thru highschool.lol.

took it to a real mechanic and it is the damn altenater
