Here is a box I made for my Z06, I didnt really get to hear how these subs sounded because they vibrated an interior piece right above them that would make them sound blown, I thought they were so I started ordering supplies for a different box. Turns out they werent blown but they only were played for a day and I never hooked them up again. I sold them but thought I would share pics. Best part about the box is it takes 15 seconds to put in and take out.

unfortunately i was planning on taking pics during the build but kinda never got around to it, I guess you can ask my neighbor, I built it over 2 weekends. Its because of that sub box that I need someone to make some cuts for me, I had home depot do a few cuts for me, I couldnt believe how far off they were
I also put .5 inch high density foam behind the carpet on the sub box to control the exhaust noise, overall i was pretty pleased but feel I could do better.
My next project is one of these and a matching passive radiator

Why couldn't he have built it himself?? I don't see anything out of the ordinary.
Is that carbon fiber vinyl? Looks pretty clean, but so small. How many cubic feet is it?

You expected clean cuts from home depot? You shouldnt listen to people on here who rep for home depot cuts *cough*spyder*cough* they are noobs that dont even have systems...

 Though I've never had home depot make all the cuts for a box I was building, if I were, I'd be sure to whip a measuring tape out of my pocket and double check the sizes before leaving.

Where did he say home depot did the cuts?
Home depot doesn't do round cuts and they sure as hell don't cut out circles or round over edges.

oh boy you are way behind in this race bud - in another thread yellostang was asking about getting cuts done and spyder told him to go to home depot and I said no way their cuts will suck and blah blah blah turns out i was right.

With a basic box/system, a 4mm difference probably wouldn't make all that much difference once you get it all glued and siliconed up. I'll bet a box you cut with a jigsaw will easily have a 4mm variance.
Now, something like 1/4"+ off...I would say something about it...and if they said fuck off, I'd leave the piece of wood there and walk out. Luckily I've usually had the luxury of a wood shop though...so I can't say I've ever been in the situation other than having them cut the mdf in half so I could get it home if I didn't have a truck with me.
Back on topic though, now that I realize who this guy is...it is interesting he had to have home depot make the straight cuts, yet he was able to router the edges, cut circles, and flush the subs himself.
