Sourskittle vs S/C honddata RSX-S

3 races, same cars, same rolls. 40mph

Race one: no HOM, no meth injection door to door until very end, when I realize the nitrous isn't coming on, and flip the HOM switch :lol: Forgot to plug the nitrous switch in.

Race 2: No HOM, no meth injection, + 100shot of fuel. Door to door again the whole time, I was actully winning still, but when I shifted 4th gear the car loaded up on all that extra fuel, I saw the AFR meter goto 9.00 and I was like "WTF??!!". Turns out, my prevous passenger turned the bottle off when he got outta car, and didn't tell me. But I still won :nerd:

Race 3: No HOM, no meth injection +110 shot of fuel + 100shot of nitrous. Well, this wasn't really much of a race, but it was funny still :lol:

Some videos should be posted sooner or later ( I still haven't saw the race with the cobra/terminator from last week ).

RSX guy ended up being cool. I wish we couldn't got around to doing a real Motor to motor run ( without my timing retard by 8 degrees ). I wish I would've told him in the end I had a bottle.

Either way it ran extremely well for an RSX/honda with a blower. It must have been tuned extremely well. I wish I had dodgdata...

The big race I wanted to see got broke up as we were pulling out. The RSX-S/c vs N/A 01' cobra ( chip, intake, gear, cat back ).

Ran a 7.5@96mph at the 1/8th. I swear, lakeland drag strip is worst fucking track in the South east. I hate the fucking staff, I hate people ( other than LS-1 queen and very few other ), and I hate the fucking starting line that rolls you backward while trying to stage. My car is faster than some of the alum. bathtub race cars they have, and they treat me like shit. Charged me $25 to run the car, and $20 for my passenger. What a bunch of shit. I really wish they'd bulldoze the whole damn place, and I mean it this time. I will not be out there again.

Yes you were right about the N/A cobra. It is very quick. I ran him when I first got my 98 when it was stock and got killed. That N/A cobra is quick.

Yes you were right about the N/A cobra. It is very quick. I ran him when I first got my 98 when it was stock and got killed. That N/A cobra is quick.

Fight ? That's not a fight. That was two guys with huge pillows pushing each other in the face. No elbows, no knees, no chokes, no anything, but pushing each other in the face with huge pillows on there hands.

I heard they duct taped a tv to the wall or something, but I didn't goto the race track to see a play fight, I went to race.

That RSX runs really good though.
That being said, I should have raced him with the high timing, vs low timing and nitrous. I pull about 40-45whp of timing out to run the 100shot, so really its more like a 50shot :lol: He got lucky on the first two runs.

It did run well though, I wonder who/where tuned it.

the guy tuned the car himself, its never been on a dyno just street tuning, he keeps his laptop in the car almost always and makes adjustments quit often...

Well... The first two runs were only close b/c I had it set for the nitrous tune. I mean, pull 8 degrees of timing out of anycar, and watch how much slower it is... The ( during the 2nd run ), try pulling 8 degrees of timing THEN add 110hp worth of fuel :lol:

No less, I proved my point.... I caught some crap from the guys at extreme turboshop over being a dick doing that to a defensless RSX... I said, " BUT HE HAD VTACK !!". I told them I'd run the built TT vette at the shop to make me look slow :lol:

That rsx needs to take that Uberhcharger off and sell it, and go turbo FTW. Turbo is the way to go with the K20, the ubercharger is nice, but a full race kit on 12 psi with K-pro will put it at arouns 400 hp. Nice runs though. Is the supercharged RSX on TR???

That's what we were thinking too, but it runs really well. I'd say speed vs reliablitly, and drivabitly I like the S/C option on the K, if racing its 100% of what you want. Of course the turbo would be faster, but that car ran very well.

Yea, a long way fo-show. Funny, I just sold my civic like 2 months ago... I still have my CRX Si though, but I'm not sure how much longer I'll have it as I need something reliable, good on gas, and FOUR SEATS ( well something on top of the neon ).

I guess my car is pretty quick... It doesn't suck.

Everything I learned on my HMT civic has made me a faster SRT4 owner.
