audio question

i have a headunit, 1 15" sub and a 1200 watt power akustik amp. thats it the headunit has a wiring harness btw. what else do i need to install this on my car? its a 90 240sx. can someone give me some kind of direction to go in and a price? i am audio-challenged lol.

i just listed everything i have. im really not into audio equipment so i guess i would need to get a amp kit and some rca cables?

if all your speakers are good and the wiring to the stock headunit works then you need

a harness to connect the car to your radio $20
A mounting kit to fit the new radio to your stock radio hole (check crutchfield) $20
a 4ga wiring kit with RCA cables and a fuse $40


Someone to install it so that you dont blow anything up.

damn dalton those are expensive prices. go to walmart and get most the stuff they sell scoshe which is cheaper,and just as good for what you are doing.and you dont need a 4 ga power kit for that amp,you can do 8 ga,it will do you fine.

Just go to walmart and save your self a shit load of money buy the 4g wire kit its $27.00 and some change and has all the wires needed for installation. make sure you run the wires inside of the car and take your time no need to rush it. double check your connections and make sure you ground your amp right. I would start off w/ setting all the settings on your amp to low before you power it up. let it run for a bit before you power it up all the way because you never know how long its been sitting around and you don't want to fry it.
