Lets say I get this crazy bug up my ass to go faster then normal in my DD and I install a Transmission cooler and purchase a standard T25BB or t3/4 6-9psi Turbo Kit (Like Greddy For example), Would it be beneficial to use on a vehicle with an automatic tranny?
I'm not looking to break any speed or HP records, But running around in a stock K24 is getting a little old .......but I'd rather spend the money on a Turbo kit then a 5 speed Manual transmission.
Has anyone run a Turbo Kit on a Stock Honda Automatic Tranny?
Any Problems?
Please explain...
Thanks in Advance

smaller turbo and low psi,i dont see where a problem would be,like you said your not gonna be breaking hp records...theres plenty of factory turboed cars with automatic trannys

shit, i would put a nice sized turbo on it. Turbo + Automatic is where its at dude.
i just dunno how well your tranny is going to take it. i would definately put a large cooler in there. no tube and fin shit, bar and plate all the way. and then set some money aside for when it does go.

You also dont have to worry about spool recovery cause the motor is always under load

shouldn't come out of load in a manual car, but people feel it necessary to use the clutch so it does.

iv had an auto turbo on my corolla, was it good for speed wise yes, but the big part is the tranny sometimes it tends to slip and not catch up other then that there really is no other problem
