got a stupid question

ok if a subs says it needs ported box volume: 0.75-1.75 cu. ft. what if i run 4? does it need to be 1.75 cb. ft. or does it need to be bigger?

use a computer program to figure box - things like speaker displacement, port displacement, tuning fq and power all make a difference! or just build it out of plywood and bubble gum!
