if you are pushing any power to it whatsoever without subframe connectors they do that. my old fox did after the mods and drag radials. it sagged quite a bit. so do yourself a favor and invest in some if you havent yet

yeah, about the drifting suspension. i have no clue when it comes to it for these dinosaurs. the drifting forum might be able to help you out a lot more. if it was set up for drag i could be of more use. i know quite a bit of drifters frequent this forum also, but nobody has commented yet.

if i were to do it i would go with the following (either Steeda or Griggs, both top notch)"

stiffer springs, lowering of course

invest in some caster/camber plates

bigger sway bar in the rear, eliminates body roll and keeps the car flatter, better control going sideways. thinner in the front, that way you can eliminate the understeer these cars have to begin with. you might want to try and get the police package sway bars from a junk yard and see how the idea works before throwing big money to it with the other brands. just a thought

ive done some research for you, and supposedly these cars have bad snap oversteer when you do get them to oversteer. dont really know how to fix it, maybe some torque arms or something will lessen the effects.

keep in mind im no expert by any means, but if i were to start out this would be the direction i would go

From what I hear, most of the top drifting cars are set up just like they would be for racing. No excessive camber or anti-roll. The idea behind this is to keep the most speed in the corners. In drifting competitions, speed through the corners is one of the factors for how you are scored. If your car oversteers really easily, you won't get much speed.

Now, if you're a novice at drifting, I don't know if this is ideal. Requiring 60 mph in order to get a good drift is not the safest thing for a drifting noob.

I've never really been a fan of drifting. Granted it's fun to watch and do, but I just can't take the professional drifters seriously. It's like the figure skating of the car world...

Sliding sideways in the grass should not alter the ride height.
The car should still steer straight with your hands off the wheel.

You might have other problems under there, and maybe we should look at it before something snaps. Get back with me.

I have good luck with polygraphite bushings and really good ball joints.
How does a "drift suspension" differ from the suspension rebuild kits sold by Suspension Technologies, for instance?-Bob

Or have you made up your mind to go drifting?
