**New Idea**

Ok so I have another Idea.

Instead of the photo contests, which i think went ok but could of went better... Lets have a "Weekly Assignment."

Every week or month or Bi-Weekly or whatever we deside, i will post an Assignment. For instance, This following monday i could post...

Assignment #1 Theme: Motion.
Anything that is moving in any way, shape or form you may post.

I think that this would be ALOT easier than trying to arrange a "photo contest." And really, its not even a contest. You dont win anything but rep points. Although we all like rep points :D

With the "Assignment" we could have anyone participate. This would eliminate trying to keep track of all the people that are participating, what camera they use and all that nonsense. Im not sure yet if i will have a one set judge, or just have everyone vote.

You will again, only use your work. And since this is an assignment, recent pictures only. Yes i wouldnt know when you took the picture but, please cooperate.

Again, this is an Idea, so please, helpful critisizm is appreciated to help improve, and keep improving The Photography and Graphics Forum.

Exactly! 7 days is more than enough time to take "A" picture.

Well we held a photo contest in this forum. Just for fun. The monthly contest "I think" takes up too much time, and didnt turn out too well. But i think that a "weekly assignment" is a better idea. A shorter period of time, and no checking in or anything. Anyone who wants to post a pic can. Well vote on the winner and he can pick the next topic. Just an idea.

Yea I know we did, I was signed up for the next one. Maybe make it more weekly rather than Monthly?

I think you should still have people "sign up" that are new, and we could figure out some way to vote for POTW.

Are there already too many mods for this section? Maybe I could sign up to help you out some so your not taking the hit so much. Im usually pretty good with setting things up like this.

I do actually get a bigger pm box. But its still not enough, im allready 97% full. Outkasted is a mod in here to though. Im not sure were he is though.

Im not sure if you could become a mod, the need actually went down when that Help TR forum was made. You can try though, that would help alot. But you can still help me out.

Yea if you need help let me know, I'm on here all the time so I can organize things or at least take some of the burden with votes or anything like that.


I really think we should keep the 2 categories with new people signing up for the next "contest". Why don't you change it to weekly and try that out for a month or so?
