Ok, we got the first issue with the shaker system fixed and the two 8" subs in the doors work, but i have another problem now. we wired up 2 amps in the back with each hooked to a seperate sub. when the car powers on, the amps turn off then turn right back off. they are kenwood 9102D's. Thanks in advance.

Based on the info you have provided I have the following prognosis:
Theres something wrong

so if the engine is off and the key is in the accessories on position they come on and work as does the rest of the stereo. then you turn the car on causing the engine to start they cut off. then a second or two later they come back on.
sounds like the starer is pulling enough power to turn the motor over that the amps are not getting enough power for them to operate

we solved the previous problem to be a bad ground and the new problem is now they turn on, but right after they do, one sub pops and the amp that it is hooked to shuts off, but the other one still works....

did you swap the subs to make sure its something with the sub not the amp?

im thinking the amp is bad - put it on the other sub like suggested above.
