What the hell is a "Time Attack" Suspension?
Do you have a Link that we can read the details for the Time Attack Thing?
Maybe some help can be lent if details are more clear.....

If you are looking for a fast autocross car, get a decent set of coilovers (not sure what costs are, but I'm sure you know where to look), get a stiff set of springs for faster transients (think natural frequencies of around 2.5 to 3.0) and by the softest set of tires with stiff sidewalls that you can buy. Have your car corner weighted, test and tune for under/over steer, and practice.
If you still want to use this car for daily driving, you might want to go with lower natural frequencies or have 2 sets of springs. The girlfriends/wives don't like it to much when it hurts to ride around town. ;-)

I wasn't trying to be a dick, I was just really curious on what you were requesting.
I thought it may have been something new that I wasn't aware of yet.
Thanks for the link, That helped show me the requirements your needing to follow a little bit better.
Enigma97 hit it right on the nose, Get a full coil over system vs. just sleeve coil overs on aftermarket shocks.
Personally, I wouldn't invest in a very expensive and stiff suspension if your only looking to run the Time Attack thing once.
If you want to continue with Auto-X....Then go for spending the big bucks.
If you want to use the car for mostly Daily Driving, Go with a soft suspension, Your back and your passengers will thank you in the long run.

Thanks for the info, you have no idea how mich it helps.. Well, I have a street suspension for it now, adjustable struts and tein springs so its unbolt and its out, i dont mind swapping my suspension for daily driving.. Im looking for a suspension thats really good for this and to use alot.. I was thinking the Tein Type Flex cause its also EDFC compatible but i've never been in a car thats has one so i dont know how it handles.. I was told the Tein Basic Dampening was ok but i dont know.. I was thinkin either the Type Flex or the Super Street from Tein.. unless someone knows better.. I know have around 1,600 to spend on it, so even if it some other brand..

Well, if you're able to swap out your coilovers relatively easily, find something that suits your car well with good adjustability. Many street coilovers run a range of damping that is good for the street and some racing. Adjustments in those dampers is often out of the range that you actually want. I would calculate what type of damping you need for a damping coefficient of about .7 and ask Tein or whoever you decide to get your coilovers from if their dampers are adjustable in this range. If they've dynoed their shocks they will know these numbers and the range they are adjustable within. Although you may not be able to tune the car very well at first, that damping coefficient will at least give you a good place to start.

These guys are right, suspension and tires go hand in hand. Try and reduce unsprung weight as much as possible.
RA is a smooth, fast track so you can get away with stiff spring, 10/8 should work, but that's just a guess.... ask other 2g guys that track their cars.
I love the Toyo RA-1's, shave them down to 4/32 or lower and they will treat you real good.
How much open track experience do you have? Some cars see 180+mph on the back straight at RA. That track is no joke and is very fast. Watch this video of the GSC guys at RA. Evo videos, Supra Videos, S13 Videos, Drag racing, Dyno Videos, Dyno Videos, Drag Racing - GSC Motorsports (http://www.gscmotorsports.com/videos.html) 5th video down. Good luck and I might see you up there!

Bro come on out and run, do you have your TT license..?
To tell you the truth, i havent been at any other track besides sebring..lol I was gonna make some time to get out to RA to run it and see how it is, i havent even seen a layout of the track..
Now I love Toyo tires but i have limitations, pretty much if they arent full race slicks then i can use them..
So your saying you've been to that track and i can get away with the stiffness, cause i know stiffer isnt always better.. I've got a pretty good hook up on prices with Tein and i know they're proven performance i guess thats why im stuck on them so much.. like i said, im just trying to get the best odds i can..

I want you to drive my car, see what it does in the turns,
compared to yours, *then* we can talk about recommendations
of what your car may need to win. I also want to see what you have already
done to start with. Get back with me.-Bob

For under a grand, the K-sport, Megan, D2, (they are all similar enough to beconsidered one product)
K-Sport was my choice and I'm very happy, 1500 track miles and 17,000 street miles and they are still pretty good. (I paid <$750 shipped) the fact they are going to feature me on their website is a plus.
they have an application for you CMT06-KP $787 from sport compact only
with camber plates. yea the pillow balls can be noisy if you don't keep them lubed but other then that they are pretty nice. I hear Driven concepts right here in tampa will match any k-sport price too.
Tein is good, but their lower end stuff is twin tube small displacement steel bodied shocks, and not anywhere near as good as their high end components.
K Sport Kontrol Coilover Dampening Kits [Part#: CMT06-KP] (http://www.sportcompactonly.com/K-Sport/Dampening-Systems/Coilovers-Springs/part_c-134_b-43_pl-3436_p-4883.htm?s_cid=F4883&st=14)
We were able to Secure 2nd place in economy class in this years one lap of america with nothing more then a sway bar and off the shelf k-sports
Numbers, Okay I'll Give you numbers.
$750
225/45/17 tires on a car that has the worst rear suspension in history
.97g's on a 200 ft skidpad at tirerack
16th overall on the skidpad.
some cars it outcorners.

20 Corvette C6
68 BMW M Roadster
29 Porsche 911/993
13 BMW M3
12 Audi S4 Quattro
17 BMW M6
so are the ksports good. I have to say yes. and if you want I have found out where to get seal kits, remote Resivours, and valvings to make them servicable right here in tampa.
