First choice would be a glue you load and spray (using a compressor)...forget the name, second choice would be the aerosol cans of spray glue from Select Products. Use a heat gun to form the vinyl, and have at it. It's not easy and definetly requires some technique...especially with more sophisticated curves and such.

well im using a heat gun and the 3m spray adhesive(can) and it doesnt seem to dry fast enough to stick on the tough curves...anyone have a video link or any link that may help??

My dad does custom car interior, Ill try and get some pics up, he can cover the fiberglass for you, pretty cheap, espically if you provide it.

The 3m spray glue is shit...about as good as the elmer's. Like I said, The Select works much better...but the stuff you use in an actual spray gun with compressor is the best.

3m spray is useless. u need some contact cement. spray it on both surfaces and let them tack. get a gallon of it at home depot for like 20 bucks. let it sit 72 hours befor letting it sit in the sun or get pretty hot or it will lift. also it helps it you put some 80 grit scratches on what you bonding to and clean it reall good with some wax and grease remover. select products has a heat activated glue that is good for extreme shapes but ive never found it nessesary. i use a vinyl from rochford supply that you can stretch all to hell witout geting a elephant skin effect, or much distortion in the grain. its strechability is insane makes life easy
heres a link

oh and yes a siphon feed spray gun from harbor freight will work pefectly. i use mine every day for the past year and it was only like 15 bucks. i keep glue in it 24/7 and ive never had to tear it apart to clean it. then again i spray about a gallon of contact cement a week
*edit* i just realized this thread is a couple months old but ill leave my response in hopes someone will find usefull information

Yea you gotta spay the box and the vinyl and let the glue dry to touch on both and then put down.
