I am thinking about getting some gear from ED like a 19ov.2 and a nine.1 amp for the back of my xB. I really would like to hear some ED products if anyone has any or can give some feedback i'd greatly appreciate it.

I never personally used them but I plan to soon. I have heard nothing but good about them.

Yeah same here everything i have seen has looked good so far. This guy told me he sees no prob hitting 140 + in my xB with one 18 ported and that 1200W amp. That excites me. My goal was to break 130 at some point.

I have never seen eD talked about on here, I doubt there is much to search for.

If you're not hitting atleast 140 dbs with ANY 18 ported and 1200w, there's something majorly wrong. That should be a simple feat.

Thats awesome i want to go slot port? i think... I'm really new to building boxes. Any suggestions on where to go for some plans and calculation on port sizes and box size?

Your safest bet would be to go with what the manufacturer recommends. Otherwise...it's really just a hit or miss. The ed spec sheet should give you recommended enclsoure sixe and port design, if not, I'd contact ed directly and ask what they would recommend.

I've heard a few crappy things about ED on Realm of Excursion, no real first hand experience but it sounds like they've gotten of to a sort of rough start. Have you looked at FI Audio? An 18" Fi BL is the same price and is probably alot nicer. Supposedly the new engeineers at FI are ex RE designers, I think. Maybe I'm wrong.

2 1/2" vc and only 22mm of xmax...not very impressive. What do you have to pay for one of those 18s?
