Default good lawyer for small incident?

well the story goes i went through a automatic carwash an it scraped up my wheel pretty bad including my tire... i went inside right after it happend an they said come back when a manager is here an he will take care of it... well i went back 2 days later and spoke with a manager an got a written incident report on what happend. well now they are saying theres no way that car wash could've damaged my car like that, and they won't let there insurance pay me... well i have proof i was there because i bought gas with my credit card and i have this report with damage to my vehicle from the car wash themselves... anyone know any lawyers around here that would handle my case? or should i go to small claims court? and how does that work?

Im not sure what can happen but I think your screwed because you left when they said a manager wasnt there. Theres no way to prove they actually did it if you left and came back two days later. A lawyer would cost just as much as wheel repair so suck it up and get it fixed. Sucks to hear but they probably just lied to you to get you to leave because once you leave its not their problem anymore.

yea, true. Just my experience with things like this. I work valet. One of our claims on the back of our tickets that we put into the cars say that if you drive off the lot it is out of our hands. You cannot come back and claim damage if you drive away. Now, if you think you have some good evidence the i guess it might work. Also, you must find the person whom told you that the manager wasnt there. It was actually there job to call and get the manager there. I wanna say good luck and i hope stuff works out. See if you can find a law book and find out stuff about your case.

you are not screwed. check the yellow pages. most lawyers give free consultations. go talk to one. they'll take the case if they think they can win, and if they do you can sue for the legal fees, so that you don't have to shell out 600-1000.

I'm surprised you were able to get out the store with that big "SUCKER" sign affixed to your back.

My lawyer is Dennis Lopez. I've only used him for traffic tickets, so I don't know what else he does. But you can call and ask...222-8989.

i would take it to small claims court, mainly because most lawyers will not take property damage cases since there is really no money for them to be made here. just my .02 .
